Martin brings a wide-ranging curiosity to architecture, shaped by early interests in biology, art history, film, and technology. He is particularly interested in how ideas move from concept to execution, using design tools and technology not for their own sake, but to explore, communicate, and refine an architectural idea with clarity.

As a project manager at CCY, Martin guides complex projects through the many layers of design, coordination, and execution. His recent work includes MOLLIE Aspen and several custom residences in and around Aspen, where he works closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to maintain design intent while navigating the detailed decisions required to bring a project to life. His approach is thoughtful, organized, and collaborative, with an attention to both the larger architectural idea and the details that shape how a place is ultimately experienced.

Originally from Nashville, Martin attended the University of North Carolina before working as a web developer and later pursuing architecture. He received his Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado-Denver and made his way to the Roaring Fork Valley, drawn by the opportunity to practice within a smaller mountain community and to build a life closely connected to the landscape. Outside the studio, he continues to make the most of it—skiing, golfing, and spending time on the river, usually with his understated sense of humor intact.
