Sean Satterfield, AIA

Sean believes that architecture should be a reflection of its users and the context in which it is built. He also feels strongly that the built environment can be fun, playful, and not take itself too seriously.

Sean has worked in the field of architectural design for over ten years and his experience encompasses a broad range of award-winning projects including private residences, multi-family housing, retail, hospitality and commercial high-rises. He specializes in contemporary design with a drive to create bold, fun architecture with acute attention to the overall vision as well as the fine details. In short, delivering an exceptional project while having a good time in the process is Sean’s ultimate goal.

After working in Chicago for most of his career, Sean and his family have recently moved to the Roaring Fork Valley stemming from a lifelong dream to live in the mountains. Besides his passion for modern architecture, Sean loves spending time with his wife and daughter, preferably outdoors camping or hiking. He is also a diehard skier, biker, sailor and yogi.
