Maura Trumble, AIA

Associate

Maura Trumble is a transplant from the flatlands of Nebraska. She received her architecture license in 2016 and has been in the field for nearly ten years. Lover of all things designed, Maura has worked on a variety of projects and is passionate about ensuring that each one connects the user to the place. She believes the constraints of projects are what create opportunities for exceptional solutions, and that investigation and iteration are essential to the design process.

Maura joined CCY in 2012 and has worked on projects throughout Colorado and the Western U.S. including community facilities, hotels, mixed-use developments, multifamily residential, and custom residences, all of which maintain direct relationships to recreation and resort communities. In 2017, Maura was promoted to the CCY leadership team as an Associate. Her most recently completed project involved working with the Aspen Skiing Company on a series of structures for “The Lost Forest," an expansion of the Elk Camp campus at Snowmass.

Maura received her Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Arts & Science in Architecture from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. She is a current member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Colorado, American Institute of Architects (AIA) Colorado, a board member of the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Roaring Fork Chapter, and a proponent of STEM or “STEAM” (Science, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, & Math) education programs.
